At Loaves and Fishes Ministries, we are committed to reaching out to and supporting individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Fremont County. Our dedicated street outreach team, composed of compassionate staff and volunteers, actively connects with our neighbors living on the streets, embodying our tagline: “Walking Alongside Our Unhoused Neighbors in Fremont County.”
Building Trust, Meeting Needs:
Our street outreach efforts are focused on:
- Building Trusting Relationships: Taking the time to connect with individuals, listen to their stories, and establish a foundation of trust.
- Addressing Immediate Needs: Providing essential basic needs such as meals, hygiene supplies, and information about available resources.
- Connecting to Long-Term Solutions: Offering transportation assistance, facilitating connections with community resources (including housing, healthcare, and mental health services), and providing direct housing assistance.
Collaboration for a Safer Community:
We believe in working collaboratively with local law enforcement agencies and businesses to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire community, treating everyone with fairness and humanity.
