At Loaves and Fishes Ministries our community support services are dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable families right here in our community. We understand that having access to basic needs like food and stable housing is crucial. That’s why our outreach programs are designed to provide groceries and financial assistance to help our neighbors maintain their housing and avoid the crisis of homelessness.
Immediate Support Available:
Client-Choice Food Pantry: Choose the groceries your family needs. Open Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Mobile Food Pantry: Bringing food to the community. Join us on the 2nd Friday of each month, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at The Expedition Church, 200 Justice Center Road, Cañon City, CO 81212. (Across the street from Loaves and Fishes Ministries)
Senior Food Boxes (60+): Nutritious food specifically for our senior community. Distributed on the 3rd Friday of each month, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Registration is required. Must meet income requirements. Please call 719.275.0593 for details.
Rental and Utility Assistance: Helping families stay in their homes. Must have children under 18 living in the home for most rental assistance. To request assistance, please call 719.275.0593.
Grab-and-Go Hot Meals: A warm meal for anyone who is hungry, every day. Breakfast at 6:00 AM and Supper at 6:00 PM
