Built for Zero is a movement, a methodology, and proof of what is possible. Over 100 cities and counties have committed to measurably ending homelessness for entire populations.
Fremont County joined the Built for Zero (BFZ) movement in October 2019 and using real-time data has created a homeless response system that quickly identifies and connects people to housing assistance and other services.
Through the technical assistance received from Community Solutions we have built
- A proactive comprehensive outreach program
- A system that quickly identifies someone experiencing homelessness
- A robust case conferencing process that focuses on next step actions to house individuals and families
