THE CHAYAH HOUSE

Restoring Hope Through Emergency Shelter

“Chayah,” the Hebrew word meaning “to restore,” embodies our commitment at Chayah. We are dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Fremont County by meeting their immediate needs with compassionate emergency services, paving the way for a healthier future.

The Chayah House:

Your Safe Haven

Our 38-bed emergency shelter provides a secure and supportive environment for single adults and families with children. The Chayah House opens its doors every day at 4:00 PM, offering a vital lifeline for those without housing.

Comprehensive Emergency Services:

At Chayah House, we offer more than just a bed for the night. Our guests have access to essential services, including:

  • Hot showers
  • Laundry facilities
  • Nutritious breakfast and supper
  • Valuable life skills classes
  • Individualized case management support

Working Towards Housing Stability:

Our primary goal is to provide you and your family with a safe and temporary place to rest and regroup as you actively work towards securing stable housing. We are here to support you on that journey.
