Our mission at the Chayah House shelter is to establish a safe haven for the homeless in Fremont County. Families and individuals can receive one food box a month. Boxes are based on family size and contain enough food to feed a family for at least three days. Everything in our warehouse has been donated to us and is given away free of charge to anyone who has a need. We have a large selection of clothing for all ages. Furniture, household items, and appliances are available. Items are examined to ensure they are usable before they are placed in the shopping area. [...]

Housing assistance and supportive services are provided to help families and individuals move from homelessness to housing stability and self-sufficiency. Typical supportive services include: Case Management Education Job Training Life Skills Classes Financial Counseling Substance Abuse Treatment Mental Health Services

Financial assistance is provided for individuals needing help with prescription drugs, in-state bus tickets, or gasoline. Payment is made through the use of a voucher directly to local vendors.
